Who Are the New Pokémon in the Pokémon Go February Community Day?

Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of this event. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will reward you with an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This powerful move delivers 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will grant you an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, boasting a consistent 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms/Raids.

The event also includes a Special Research quest where you can encounter Karrablast and Shelmet with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds. Completing this research will also earn you a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will be available for a week following the main event. By logging in during Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that offer encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring these special backgrounds.
