Which Customers Want Coffee in Wanderstop?

In the fourth cycle of *Wanderstop*, a stunning humanoid bird arrives at the shop seeking a refined cup of tea. Shortly after Alta serves it, a group of businessmen named Jerry, Larry, and Terry enter the shop. Dressed in suits and carrying briefcases, they are en route to a boardroom for a presentation.

Alta quickly informs them they are off-course, but when she offers them tea, they decline, insisting on coffee. Despite the shop's lack of coffee, the businessmen decide to wait until it becomes available.

Boro, the tea shop owner, explains that coffee has never grown in this forest, leaving Alta initially frustrated. However, the arrival of an interdimensional figure named Zenith changes everything. Zenith, fascinated by the businessmen, agrees to try Alta's tea, having only experienced coffee before.

How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop

To unlock coffee beans, make Zenith a cup of tea infused with something valuable. This could be anything from a book or trinket to a pot, mug, small plant, or even a photograph. After tasting the tea, Zenith becomes curious about the difference between coffee and tea and asks what's needed to brew coffee for the businessmen. Alta's mention of "coffee beans" sparks a revelation for Zenith.

Zenith then uses the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest, allowing them to grow in the clearing for the first time. Instructions for harvesting and brewing these beans are added to Alta’s Field Guide.

How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop

After Zenith summons them, coffee beans grow wild in the clearing and respawn randomly. Harvest them similarly to fruits and seeds or other objects. Store them in your ingredients pocket, carry one at a time, or place them on shelves, tables, floors, or the ground outside.

Before brewing, coffee beans need to be cleaned. Place them in the dishwasher and wait for them to be delivered back to the tea room by the dish trains.

To brew coffee, pour water into the tea maker and heat it if required. Then, kick the gear to pour the water into the infuser. Only one bean is needed to brew coffee, though customers might request additional beans or other ingredients. Kick the gear again to pour the brew into the kettle below, then decant it into mugs for serving to customers, Boro, or Alta.

Introducing coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and provides another beverage option for other customers. Even Boro, though not a fan, is willing to give it a try.
