Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th

Highly acclaimed puzzler Botany Manor finally gets its PlayStation release date: January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for December 17th, 2024, the PS4 and PS5 versions were delayed to allow for further refinement.

Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to widespread critical praise, Botany Manor quickly established itself as a top-tier puzzle game. The PlayStation port, announced for a December release, faced a last-minute postponement by publisher Whitethorn Games to guarantee the best possible player experience.

The January 9th, 2025 announcement of the new release date fulfills Whitethorn's promise. While the game's PS Store page remains absent, PS4 and PS5 players can anticipate its arrival on January 28th.

Expect Botany Manor to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game features a single purchase model without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from Switch and Xbox versions.

Enriching PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's strong reception (OpenCritic rating: "Strong," 83/100, 92% recommendation) speaks volumes. Its charming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and engaging exploration captivated critics, cementing its reputation as a standout puzzle game of 2024. Its PlayStation release will significantly enhance the console's already impressive puzzle game library.

With the PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios, the London-based developer, has yet to announce its next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PS Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
