The highly anticipated Godzilla skin, slated for release in Fortnite on January 17th, has had its details prematurely revealed through online leaks. Epic Games recently deployed an update containing the game files, allowing dataminers to uncover the partnership's specifics with the Monsterverse.

Beyond the standard Godzilla skin obtainable via the battle pass, players can acquire a bundle featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong from the in-game store. This bundle boasts unique jetpacks and custom pickaxes designed to complement both skins.

A new boss event will also launch on January 17th. One player will transform into a colossal Godzilla, wielding atomic breath and other iconic abilities. Players must collaborate to defeat this formidable foe. The player inflicting the most damage will receive a medallion granting a unique in-game advantage.

The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle will be available at the usual time in the Fortnite store, priced as follows:

  • Kong: 1500 V-bucks
  • Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
  • Two pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
  • One emote: 400 V-bucks
  • Two wraps: 500 V-bucks each
  • Complete bundle: 2800 V-bucks

Furthermore, Fortnite's roster of guest appearances continues to expand. A potential collaboration with Hatsune Miku, the popular vocaloid, is hinted at through social media interactions. The official Hatsune Miku account reported a missing backpack, to which the Fortnite Festival account responded affirmatively, suggesting the backpack's acquisition.

Beyond a standard Vocaloid skin, this potential collaboration appears to include a stylized pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant, along with a virtual Hatsune Miku concert.
