Blizzard Unveils Intriguing WoW Housing Updates

Feb 25,25

World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard unveiling initial details. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, regardless of subscription status, and will not involve complicated acquisition processes, exorbitant costs, or lotteries. This feature is set to debut with the Midnight expansion.

Initially, players can select a plot in one of two distinct zones: an Alliance zone (Elwynn Forest, incorporating elements from Westfall and Duskwood) or a Horde zone (Durotar, featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline).

Each zone will be subdivided into districts, each accommodating roughly 50 homes. Players can choose to establish their residence in an open area or a private community alongside friends and guild members. A vast array of customization options will be provided, with the majority obtainable in-game, while select items will be available in the in-game shop.

Blizzard underscores the housing system's core tenets: extensive customization, robust social interaction, and enduring appeal. Further details regarding the housing system are promised in the future, and player feedback is actively encouraged.
