Patch 8 Stress Test Update 1: Bug Fixes and More

This update to the Patch 8 stress test addresses various bugs, crashes, and scripting errors. It also ensures Gale correctly interacts with magical items. Access is limited to those participating in the stress test; the update is available for download only on their designated platforms. Players not involved in the stress test must wait for the official Patch 8 release to receive these improvements.

Key improvements include: containers retaining contents upon destruction, enhanced screenshot functionality in Photo Mode for Steam Deck users, more responsive character poses, improved cross-play, updated Booming Blade tooltip values, and several crash fixes. Patch 8 is anticipated to be a major update, possibly the final large content update before Larian moves on from Faerûn. This update includes platform cross-play, over 12 new subclasses (such as the Death Domain Cleric, Path of Giants Barbarian, and Arcane Archer Fighter), and the highly anticipated Photo Mode.

Apply post-processing effects, stickers, and frames to enhance your images. Note that during dialogues and cutscenes, only post-processing effects are available.
