Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite initially being left off the announced roster of returning skaters. This exciting news was revealed by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already completed when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Bam Margera's inclusion. Despite being initially told it was not possible, Hawk's persistence paid off, showcasing his determination to see Margera included in the game.

IGN has reached out to Activision for an official comment on this development.

Bam Margera, known for his days as a professional skateboarder and his role in the Jackass series, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab visits. Recently, he was fired from Jackass Forever and was also subject to a restraining order filed by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats against Tremaine and his family.

The speculation about Margera's return to the game was fueled by a recent video shared by both Hawk and Margera, showing them skateboarding together.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has managed to overcome significant hurdles, including the scrapping of the project following Activision's merger of the original series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
