Ubisoft showcases the enhanced PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows in a new trailer. The video highlights key features including support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, compatibility with ultra-wide monitors, and the inclusion of ray tracing effects (RTGI and RT Reflections). Extensive settings are also included to optimize performance on lower-end PCs, along with a built-in benchmark tool for performance testing.

Minimum PC specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS are an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K resolution at 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing enabled call for an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft collaborated with Intel to optimize the game for their processors, while AMD system performance will be evaluated following the release. The developers aim to address past stuttering issues present in previous Assassin's Creed titles, building on the performance improvements seen in Mirage over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
