April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

May 06,25

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for April 2025, featuring three compelling titles: RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were revealed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, remaining accessible until the next update on May 5.

The April lineup caters to a diverse range of gaming preferences. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, immerses players in a first-person shooter experience as Alex Murphy, fighting crime in a dystopian Detroit. The game received a significant update in January of the previous year, introducing a New Game Plus mode, and earned a commendable 7/10 in our review at launch.

For those interested in multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an asymmetrical multiplayer experience where players can either survive or hunt as part of the Slaughter Family. This intense game, which simulates the terror of facing Leatherface, was rated 6/10 in our review, providing a few hours of thrilling, albeit technically challenging, gameplay.

Rounding out the trio, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco is perfect for fans of turn-based monster collecting games. With over 320 Digimon to encounter and collect, this title offers a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth story, released back in 2018.

As these new titles become available, PlayStation Plus subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 offerings before they expire on March 31. The previous month's lineup, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, presents another strong set of games worth adding to your library.
