Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

Apr 27,25

Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering players a mix of cuteness and power. The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, or Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and might even trigger Applin encounters.

During Sweet Discoveries, you'll encounter wild Pokémon such as Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer additional chances to catch themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, will reward you with Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version also includes extra Mossy Lure Modules and more Applin encounters.

ytDon't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases for themed Pokémon. For those who prefer a more intense challenge, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th, where Dynamax Entei will make its fiery debut. Keep your fingers crossed for a Shiny encounter!

Prepare for these events with these Pokémon Go codes!

The events come with several bonuses, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced adventuring distance to collect them, and higher Power Spot refresh rates. You'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot you visit. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research begins on April 21st, rewarding a Dynamax Sobble to help counter Entei's heat.

Stock up for both events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store.
