Hitman: Absolution Pre-Registration Now on Mobile

Feb 10,26

Feral Interactive is now accepting pre-registrations for Hitman: Absolution on mobile, with an Android launch scheduled for this autumn. Developed by IO Interactive, the game first launched on PC in 2012 as the fifth mainline entry in the Hitman franchise.

For Android, however, this marks the second Hitman title to arrive. Hitman: Absolution serves as a direct sequel to the mobile release of Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, which arrived in 2024. Agent 47 is returning to mobile, and this time, the mission is personal.

Arriving on mobile over a decade after its original debut

The mobile adaptation of Hitman: Absolution features customizable touch controls, full gamepad support, and compatibility with keyboard and mouse. Players can utilize stealth, create distractions, employ disguises, and navigate its dynamic sandbox environments.

Powered by the Glacier 2 engine, the mobile version preserves the cinematic quality of the original. It maintains the distinctive art style and intricate level design, complete with gritty, noir-inspired voice acting and character animations.

The narrative follows the world's most infamous assassin as he finds himself targeted by his own agency. After being dispatched to eliminate his former handler, Agent 47 is compelled to confront the very organization he served and question his own convictions.

Across 20 missions, players can choose their approach: using subtle disguises, leveraging environmental interactions, or employing direct firepower to achieve objectives. Sneak past guards in stolen uniforms or clear a room in seconds using the precise Point Shooting mechanic.
