Coming May 6

Schell Games, in collaboration with Innersloth, has set the stage for the launch of Among Us 3D, scheduled for May 6, 2025. This announcement was made on April 16 via the game's official Twitter (X) account, marking a significant milestone for fans eagerly awaiting this new chapter.

Originally known as Among Us VR, the game has been rebranded to Among Us 3D to cater to a wider audience with its cross-play multiplayer capabilities. This week, the developers unveiled a new in-game currency called Stardust, which offers players greater flexibility as it never expires.

Among Us 3D will introduce a permanent Tag Mode with the new Infected role, along with native proximity voice chat, limited-time events, a variety of new and returning mini-games, and an array of fresh cosmetics to enhance your gameplay experience.

It's important to note that Among Us 3D and the previously released Among Us VR in 2022 are distinct games, and there will be no cross-play between them. Schell Games has clarified on their website that Among Us 3D is a completely separate entity, designed to provide a tailored experience for PC players while continuing to update Among Us VR.

They stated, "Separating the versions during this development allowed/allows us to continue to bring quality updates to our Among Us VR beans while ensuring the highest quality and tailored experience for our new PC players."
