Hibou: A Way to Connect Our Families

Hibou is crafted to enhance your safety while fostering social connections. With two decades of expertise in lone worker technology and healthcare services, Hibou is born from a passion for living life fully. It helps keep you secure and keeps your family updated. Whenever you engage in an activity, simply check-in so your loved ones are aware of your status.

Leveraging GPS technology and built-in timers, Hibou enables you to enjoy all your favorite activities without worry. Whether you're climbing your backyard mountain, skiing for the afternoon, or traveling the world, Hibou supports you. Just press the activity button in the app, set a timer for the expected duration (up to 24 hours), and proceed with your activity. Once you've safely returned, simply end your timer. If your timer runs out before you're back, you can extend it with a button press.

Should you find yourself in distress and unable to call for help, Hibou is there for you. Once your timer expires, notifications are sent to your pre-determined contact list, informing them that you're overdue and providing your last known location. Help will then be on its way.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, giving your loved ones peace of mind. Once or twice a day, at a scheduled time, you report using the app, website, or phone system. If you miss the scheduled check-in, you'll receive reminders via app notifications, emails, and phone calls. After a grace period and additional reminders, if you still haven't reported, your circle members will be notified of your missed check-in.

Additionally, Hibou features a help button. When pressed, it sends an immediate notification and your GPS location to your contact list. While calling 911 is crucial in emergencies, there are times when alerting family and friends that you need help is the best course of action.
