Before Starting Your Sensor:

Select your preferred device (phone or FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader) before sensor activation. Alarms and glucose readings are device-specific (not both simultaneously). [3] Use the app for phone-based alerts and readings; use the Reader for Reader-based alerts and readings.

The app and Reader don't share data. For comprehensive data, scan your sensor every 8 hours using the same device. LibreView.com allows you to consolidate data from all your devices.
