The game provides two distinct operation modes, allowing you to customize your gameplay experience. You can switch modes through the 'Options' menu or by tapping the || button to access the in-game menu. Winner’s Soccer Evolution adopts internationally recognized control schemes, featuring five key actions for passing the ball:
- Short Pass/Press: Use for short passes during offense and to press the opponent's dribbler in defense.
- Long Pass/Slide Tackle: Accumulate power and release to send a long pass to a teammate. In defense, use this to execute a slide tackle.
- Shoot: Perform various shooting actions based on power accumulation and the distance to the ball.
- Through Pass/GK Rush Out: Pass the ball to a teammate based on power accumulation.
- Long Through Pass: Use a long pass to send the ball to a teammate with increased power accumulation.
- Special Dribble/Focus Change: Execute special dribble actions such as Marseille roulette, crossing, flip-flap, and pull back.
Additionally, the game offers automatic combination skills:
- Sprint: Increase dribbling speed, though at the cost of ball control.
- Drive Ball Out: Stop the ball at a distance from your body to facilitate a quicker start to dribbling.
- Dribble with Far Distance: Double-click in front during a fast dribble to cover more ground and facilitate a faster run.
- Fake Shoot and Fake Long Pass: Press the Short Pass button during or after initiating a shoot or long pass to cancel the action, helping you to deceive defenders or the goalkeeper.
- One-Two Pass: Coordinate with a teammate to execute a quick pass and receive back, useful for bypassing defenders.
- Lob Shoot: Use the Special Dribble button to perform a lob shot.
