Town of Salem
Town of Salem is an immersive game filled with murder, accusations, deceit, and mob hysteria, offering a thrilling experience with each playthrough.
How to Play
In Town of Salem, the game accommodates between 7 to 15 players, who are randomly assigned to different alignments such as Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. If you're a Town member, your mission is to uncover and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they can take you down. The challenge lies in not knowing who among you is a friend or a foe.
For those playing an evil role like a Serial Killer, your task is to discreetly murder Town members under the cover of night while evading capture.
Roles
With 33 unique roles, Town of Salem guarantees a fresh experience every time you play. Before the game begins, players gather in a lobby where the host can customize the selection of roles for the game. Once the game starts, each player is randomly assigned a role from the chosen list, receiving an in-game role card that details their abilities and alignment. Game Phases
Night
During the night phase, most roles execute their special abilities. Serial Killers carry out their deadly deeds in secret, Doctors work to save those who are targeted, and Sheriffs investigate for any suspicious activities.
Day
The day phase is when Town members can openly discuss and deliberate over who they believe might be an evil role. Once the voting phase begins, a majority vote from the Town can send someone to trial.
Defense
In the defense phase, the accused gets a chance to argue their innocence to the Town. A compelling story can be the difference between life and facing the gallows!
Judgement
The judgement phase is where the Town decides the fate of the defendant through a vote. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If guilty votes outnumber innocent votes, the accused meets their end by hanging!
Customization
Players have the freedom to customize their experience by selecting their preferred map, character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name. These choices are visible to all other players in the game.
Achievements
Town of Salem boasts over 200 unique achievements. Earning these achievements rewards players with various in-game items, adding another layer of engagement to the gameplay.
