Maximize your word count to achieve victory! Squares is a daily word strand puzzle and strategy game where players strategically complete squares on a grid to form words.

Gameplay: Connect letters in any direction – up, down, left, right, or diagonally – to create words. The objective is to locate all words within the letter grid and accumulate the highest possible score.

Game Rules:

• Scoring: Each letter in a word earns 1 point (a five-letter word scores 5 points).
• Word Length: Words must contain at least four letters.
• Letter Usage: Each tile can only be used once per word.
• Excluded Words: Words with hyphens, proper nouns, offensive language, or uncommon terms are not included in the main word list.

Bonus Words:

• Bonus Term Discovery: Uncommon, archaic, or slang terms are considered bonus words. These don't contribute to your main score but appear in a separate bonus word list. Continue searching for them even after finding all main words.
• Word of the Day: Each puzzle features a "Word of the Day," a special, often longer bonus word. Successfully guessing it rewards you with two extra hints.

Daily Puzzle: A new Squares puzzle is available daily at midnight.

Grid Rotation: Utilize the rotation buttons in the bottom right corner to change your perspective. Viewing the puzzle from different angles can aid in word discovery.

Letter Hints: Upon finding 40% of the words, a hint is provided: a number appears on each letter, indicating how many words begin with that letter. The absence of a number signifies no words start with that letter. Letters turning orange indicate they're no longer used in the main words but may still appear in bonus words.

Hints System: Each puzzle offers 3 to 5 hints (lightbulb icon). Using a hint reveals the first letter of a random word and its search direction. The number of hints varies based on puzzle difficulty. Sharing the game link with friends grants an additional hint.
