How to Play Okey Game

The offline Okey game is traditionally played with four players. Each player uses a cue stick to sort their tiles, which come in four colors: Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue. The tiles are numbered from 1 to 13, and the game includes two fake Okey tiles among a total of 106 tiles.

At the start of the game, all tiles are mixed and automatically distributed to the players. The player next to the dealer receives 15 tiles, while the others get 14. Players then organize their tiles into groups or pairs based on their cues.

The remaining tiles are placed in the center of the table, with one open numbered tile serving as the indicator stone. The tile matching the indicator stone's color and number is the Okey Stone, which can be used as a wildcard in the game. If a player finishes the game by throwing the Okey Stone, their points are doubled.

Normal Tile Arrangement in Okey Game

Players aim to arrange their tiles into at least three pairs. There are two types of pairs: the first is formed by arranging tiles of the same color in a sequence, and the second by arranging the same number of tiles of different colors side by side.

Pair Formation in Okey Game

To win, a player must arrange all their tiles into pairs, and upon completing seven pairs, they can end the game by dragging the last tile to the center of the table.

Indicator Rule in Okey Game

At the beginning of a new game, the next player reveals the indicator tile. If it's an Okey-colored tile, points are deducted accordingly; otherwise, two points are deducted.

End of Okey Game

The game ends when a player discards their last tile. If it's not an Okey tile, it's a normal finish, and points are deducted based on whether it's Okey-colored (4 points) or not (2 points). Completing the game with seven pairs deducts 4 points from other players. If all tiles are the same color and in sequence from 1 to 13, it's a color finish, dropping other players' points to zero. If tiles are the same color but not in order, 8 points are deducted from other players.

Our classic play Okey offline game offers numerous customization options to tailor your gaming experience. Before you start, adjust settings to your liking for a more enjoyable session. You can also opt for an ad-free experience with a one-time purchase, allowing you to play unlimited Okey games without interruptions.
