Quickfire Rules:
After dealing the cards evenly among four players, each player bids either high (black card) or low (red card). Bids are revealed starting left of the dealer. The first black card revealed signifies a 'high' round where teams aim to win as many tricks as possible. If only red cards are revealed, the game proceeds as a 'low' round, with teams trying to win as few tricks as possible.
In a high bid round, the player to the right of the 'grander' leads the first trick. In a low bid round, the player to the left of the dealer starts. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, and the winner leads the next trick.
At the round's end, points are calculated based on tricks collected. In a high bid round, the 'grander' team earns a point for each trick over six, while failing to reach seven tricks awards the opposing team points per trick over six, depending on the 'set bonus'. In a low bid round, teams earn points for each trick under seven.
