Gameplay Overview:
The objective of Hearts is to accumulate the lowest score by the game's end. Players must follow suit (e.g., play a Club if a Club is led). If unable to follow suit, any card can be played, except Hearts or the Queen of Spades on the first trick. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick and leads the next. The trick winner earns one point per Heart and 13 points for the Queen of Spades. However, if a player "shoots the moon" (takes all Hearts and the Queen of Spades), they score zero, while all other players receive 26 points. The game concludes when a player reaches 100 points or more.
