In the year 2017 A.D., Chaldea, an organization dedicated to monitoring Earth's future, discovered that human history was slated for extinction in 2019. Suddenly, the anticipated future of 2017 vanished without a trace. The questions loomed: Why? How? Who? By what means?
Back in A.D. 2004, in a certain provincial town in Japan, an unprecedented unobservable region emerged. Suspecting this as the root of humanity's impending doom, Chaldea initiated its sixth experiment: time travel into the past. Through a forbidden ceremony, humans were transformed into Spiritrons and sent back in time. Their mission was to intervene in historical events, locate, identify, and destroy space-time Singularities. This mission, classified as an order to protect Humanity, is known as the Grand Order. It is a title bestowed upon those who stand against the tide of human history and battle fate to safeguard mankind.
